The story of the bus factory in Sanok began in 1832, when Walenty Lipiński and Mateusz Beksinski – two participants of the Polish November Uprising – founded a small boiler plant. They both came from Koprzywnica near Sandomierz. After the fall of the uprising, they decided to settle in Sanok. They purchased a small manor house with outbuildings, where they established a small workshop. It produced boilers for distillery and brewery industry, growing in the area.
Soon, in addition to boilers and other everyday items, the workshop’s owners began to provide locksmith and blacksmith services.
Following Mateusz Beksiński’s death, Walenty Lipiński decided to hand over the workshop to his adult and educated son, Kazimierz. He, in turn, began to transform the workshop into a larger factory by building new production halls and warehouses.
